San Antonio Shoot

San Antonio Shoot

Weisser Engineering and Surveying, has the privilege and honor to volunteer with, and donate to many amazing organizations. One organization in particular has always been very close to our heart: Sky High for St. Jude.

Sky High for St. Jude was founded in 2007 by Miss Brittany Herbert. The very first clay shoot put on by Sky High for St. Jude raised more than $50,000 for St. Jude Research hospital and the Ronald McDonald House in Memphis, Tennessee. With such booming success, the Sky High team was motivated to continue striving and working to change the lives of children living with life-threatening diseases

Weisser Engineering & Surveying volunteered and participated in the San Antonio Shoot, held at the National Shooting Complex on November 13th & 14th, 2015. The sold out event began with a Concert, Live Auction, and Dinner on Friday Night at The Hyatt Hill Country Resort & Spa. Two current patients from St. Jude's hospital spoke about their experiences being children with cancer and the critical care they received from the hospital. After raising over $200,000 solely in the live auction, the following day continued with three shooting flights, incredible food and tons of raffle prizes.

Patients, were also able to shoot in the tournament alongside event sponsors. The San Antonio Clay Shoot is the charity's largest event held and raises the most funds to donate to Ronald McDonald House of Memphis and St. Jude's Hospital. Thanks to the event sponsors and donors all over the world, no child and their families ever pay a cent for care and treatment.
