WES Organizes & Sponsors 26th Annual Dan Ewing Memorial Golf Tournament Benefitting Local Charity, Tip of the Spear

HOUSTON -May 7, 2018 -Weisser Engineering & Surveying (WES) coordinated and sponsored the 26th Annual Dan Ewing Memorial Golf Tournament (DEM) on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at Wildcat Golf Club in Houston, Texas. The Tournament serves as the signature Charity Fundraising Event for the Gulf Coast Region's Right of Way and Real Estate/Land Professionals. Proceeds from the Event directly benefitted local charity, Tip of the Spear.

The Annual DEM Golf Tournament included both a Silent and Live Auction, Helicopter Ball Drop, Dinner and Craft Brews from Spindletap Brewery. Over 50 teams participated in the tournament on Wildcat Golf Club's two courses. The DEM Golf Tournament raised over $69,000 for Tip of the Spear, the largest donation to date raised in DEM Golf Tournament history. WES is proud to organize, participate and sponsor The Dan Ewing Memorial Golf Tournament each year.

Tip of the Spear exists to provide both essential and nonessential supplies to our service men and women that are deployed to hostile locations. They collect donations, pack and ship all items to our deployed men and women overseas. Each box that is sent includes items such as socks, toothbrushes, razor blades, protein bars, sunscreen and much more.
